Long-Term Care at Cottage Grove Place

Long-term care is necessary when you face a debilitating or progressive medical condition that hinders your ability to live at home safely but doesn’t require acute care in a hospital setting.
Working closely with residents and families, our dedicated team develops personalized care plans and offers around-the-clock services. The most common type of long-term care is assistance with activities of daily living, including:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Eating
- Using the toilet
- Transitioning from sitting to standing
- Getting in and out of bed
While Cottage Grove Place residents have priority admittance to long-term care, it’s not required for someone to live in our community to take advantage of our skilled nursing services. We accept Medicare and secondary insurances.

The skilled nursing area of a senior living community is not like a hospital. Many patients and residents utilize this area of care after a hospital stay. While this area of the community does provide advanced levels of on-going long-term care as well as short-term nursing and rehabilitative services, the suites and spaces are designed to be warm and comfortable, in a home-like environment.
