CNA – Independent Living

The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and maintain a clean, orderly and safe environment for all residents, with emphasis on activities of daily living and restoration of a higher level of function.

Part Time Opening:

  • 2nd Shift (2:00pm- 10:00pm)
  • Assist residents in the activities of daily living including, but not limited to ambulation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and activities.

  • Report changes in resident condition, such as behavior, moods, activity level, appetite, patterns of elimination, vital signs, etc. to Nurse and Navigator.

  • Assist residents in psychosocial needs by using appropriate communications with residents, families, staff and supervisors.

  • Attend monthly Care Associate and In-Service meetings.

  • Contributes to a positive, healthy and safe work environment.


Required Qualifications

  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program.
  • Currently registered on the State of Iowa Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Ability to work with sensitive/confidential material.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in health care and geriatric care.
  • Currently CPR certified.

Part-Time | 1st shift and 2nd shifts
